ASL Language Festival: It's An ASL World, Reed Cotton & Mike Wallace, Manchester Memorial HS

Participants will immerse themselves in an ASL mini-community by exposing themselves to life in an ASL environment. Come visit your ASL National Bank, ASL Cafe, Dr.'s office, & Info Center. Your Info center will provide you the tools required to access your ASL world. Prizes awarded.

2. Employing Readings as a Base and a Model for Communication and Learning in the

Spanish Language Classroom, John Chaston, University of New Hampshire This workshop details and demonstrates a 6 step methodology to use Spanish language readings as a model and a springboard for student communication and classroom interactive activities which foster competence and confidence in listening, reading, speaking, writing, vocabulary expansion, grammar analysis and understanding.
